Sacrificing for Relationships
by Gateway Church

Look back over how you’ve interacted with people over the past several years -- people like your neighbor, cousin, store clerk, pastor, or colleague. Have you seen yourself sacrificing to serve these people more relationally, or are you becoming mostly just more functional (wanting to essentially get done with this & move on to something else). Have you filled your life with relationships with other Christians or with doing “ministry” activities at the expense of building relationships with the people closest to you? Have you neglected loving these people by refusing to sacrifice your free-time, by not wanting to expose your children to the messy parts of life, or by hoarding your resources? What needs to change?
